Implantology
Dental implants have become, in recent decades, one of the most effective treatments both from the point of view of aesthetics and function to replace missing teeth. With dental implants we can replace single teeth or the absence of all the teeth in the mouth. Current implantology allows solving complex situations where the complete rehabilitation of the patient's chewing can be difficult to solve.

Our implants have a success rate of 97%
What do we do to get this 97%? Five things, one of them is you
-
1. The material. We use high end implants, made of titanium, are authorized by the CE market and have scientific studies that support their long-term clinical results.
2. The doctor, who places the implants is a specialized surgeon with a lot of experience in placing implants and is the key for the treatment success.
3. The placing of the implant is done by following a strict protocol of milling, using the latest technological devices to be able to place them with precision.
4. The connection of the implant with the crown is very important because it prevents future complications, like the loosening of the screw that joins the crown with the implant.
5. You, as a patient, have a compromise with health. For example, no smoking, excellent oral hygiene, keeping up with the controls, etc.
Unitary implants
The absence of a single tooth is the most frequent situation in the office. Therefore it is the substitution that we do the most. It can be a missing tooth in the posterior sector with a more functional demand or it can be a missing tooth in an anterior sector where the aesthetic is a priority.
Multiple implants
The absence of various teeth can be a severe problem because the masticatory ability is found diminished. This can lead to other severe disorders in the patient’s organism. In these situations we can fix this with implants placement. We can offer different treatment options according to the patient’s demands and the characteristics of the mouth.
With the placement of 8-12 implants we can rehabilitate the masticatory function and aesthetic of a patient who lost all his/her teeth. With this number of implants, the prosthesis that goes above the implants can be done with metal and ceramics, being the most aesthetic treatment and what looks most similar to the teeth.
When the lack of bone is accentuated because much time has passed after the extraction of the teeth, we can place 4 o 8 implants to substitute the masticatory function. In this case the prosthesis that is placed above can’t be done with ceramics, therefore they are done with metal and acrylic resin.
When the bone reabsorption is more severe, because of an incorrect biting of the patient or because of financial problems we can place 2 or 4 implants to solve the masticatory problems. The prosthesis above is a denture that the patient himself/herself can put in and out, fastened in a removable way so it is possible to clean it but is fixed in the mouth when eating.
